Kraken Media
Kraken Media is a Galician audiovisual production company founded in 2021. We develop and produce feature films, series, short films, documentaries and audio projects, with a particular focus on creative development and stories connected to place, memory and contemporary conflicts.
We support projects from their earliest creative stages through production and distribution, building partnerships with co-producers, broadcasters, platforms and institutions.
Fernando Tato Producer · Director · Screenwriter
Fernando Tato, co-founder of Kraken Media, has built his career across directing, screenwriting, acting and production. Trained as an actor, he has extensive experience as an actor in film and television and works as a director, screenwriter and producer. As a screenwriter, he has won the SGAE Julio Alejandro Screenwriting Award and has developed various film and television projects. He is the script coordinator on Clínica Miranda for TVG and has written and directed works such as Adeus, Berta, A Entrevista and Delicias Amargas. At Kraken Media, he is particularly involved in the creation and creative development of the company’s projects.
Alba Gallego Executive producer
Alba Gallego has built her career primarily in audiovisual production, alongside her work as a script supervisor and editor. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Master’s in Audiovisual Production and Management, and has more than a decade of experience on professional film and television sets. As a producer, she has worked on projects such as Adeus, Berta, A Entrevista, Compañeiros and Delicias Amargas, and as a script supervisor on productions including Rapa, Marbella, La Unidad, Ons and Fatum. At Kraken Media, she is responsible for executive production, production management and project development.
Adrián Castiñeiras Executive producer
Adrián Castiñeiras holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication, specializing in Screenwriting and Production, from the University of Navarra. He is a co-founder of Kraken Media, where he has worked as an executive producer since 2021, participating in the development and production of its projects. Over the years, he has been involved in fiction productions for film, television and new formats, including Terapia de parella for Televisión de Galicia, Delicias Amargas, A Entrevista and Te quiero demasiadas veces, as well as the audio fiction El Hackeo, produced for RTVE Audio.
